The applet has been successfully updated. All chat pages hosted on GoodChatting.com
should now be upgraded to the proper version. If you get a message saying
the applet class cannot be found, or if the applet appears to be unregistered,
please email Julie with the name of the page
you're chatting on.
Please note that this upgrade removes support for Netscape 4.7 on Mac
OS 9, due to incomplete JDK1.1 support in that platform. Mac users who
have OS9 should use IE 5 as their browser, with their Java Security option
set to "Unrestricted Access".
We're attempting to upgrade the Java applet, but there's a slight problem
in that the registration code is not being recognized. Working on this,
will post when it's resolved. :)
The server has been up and running, not to mention stable, since 10:26pm
ET. Apologies for not mentioning this sooner. Thanks for your patience
and understanding!
We are currently experiencing connection problems to the server. You may
